As we welcome our largest two party system since the 70s (Conservative 42%, Labour 40%, Lib-Dems 7%, UKIP 7% and Greens 2%) and out weak and wobbly looking hung parliament. No matter who or what your political affiliation, there is no doubt that the results of the 2017 General Election came as a both pleasant and humbling surprise to us all.

Labour Victory
First, I must start with acknowledging the amazing victory made by Corbyn and the Labour Party, although the Labour Party didn't win, (which isn't exactly something Labour supporters were betting on) 266 seats is a great success for the party, making significant gains since Milliband's 232 seats that he had won in the 2015 election - a significant decrease for the 258 seats secured in 2010.
Look at that Representation
Two new Sikh MP's have been elected - one of whom is the first female Sikh Representative ever and the other, the first turban wearing Sikh Mp.
In addition to this 200 female MPs have been elected - this topping the former number of 196.

Preet Kaur Gill (Left) elected first female Sas Labour MP for Birmingham Edbaston (Labour) and (Right) Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi for Slough (Labour)
Farage is that you?
UKIP's leader, Paul Nattall steps down as leader, ironically, a few hours after Farage suggested that he may have"Absolutely no choice" may make an obligatory return to the politics scene.
John Curtice
If you'd been watching BBC throughout the last three days (or years). You'd know that John Curtice is a pleasure to watch. The political scientist kept us up all night. Not just because of his quirky countenance and slightly sarcastic rhetoric, but he's honestly so eloquent and a pleasure to watch. So, if like me you're an actual fan on the political scientist, follow @JohnCurticeOnTv where they'll update you every time he is seen on live TV.

"Coalition of Chaos"
And so I think the most ironic development from this whole ordeal is our Hung Parliament. Theresa May's "Strong and Stable" does look very Weak and Wobbly. The idea of a coalition with the anti-LGBT, Anti-aborition, Islamophobic, DUP sounds like a risk that the PM (is quite frighteningly) willing to take.
